Fleet Operations Vendor

Hi,

Have a couple of characters that haven't seen play time in a long while. Some still have the Locked Crystal containers that say to turn in with the Fleet Operations Vendor in the Supply Section. Is this still a thing, or do I just destroy the cases and move on?
